Applied in the construction of fiber-optic link on overhead transmission lines of 35 kV and more.

Used for stationary installation when the optical fiber needs extra protection from mechanical damages.

Cable duct system includes underground constructions (ducts, manholes, boxes). This type of optical communication systems installation ensures possibility of cable installation, replacement and maintenance without the need to rip up the soil. Cables installed in ducts are resistant to weather conditions and mechanical damages.
When installed in ducts, the cable may be damaged by rodents. This is why extra protection – corrugated steel tape armor – is required.
