Blowing
Applied in tubes, ducts, trays, blocks, tunnels, collecting channels, with no risk of rodent attacks. Also applied for aerial installation between supports and buildings on external strength members or using the winding method.
Ducting
Applied in ducts, trays, blocks, tunnels, collecting channels, with a risk of rodent attacks.
Direct Buried
Applied in harsh environments with potential mechanical impact: in all ground types, swamps and harsh rivers.
Submarine
Applied in sea areas (coastal shelf and deep-sea), on navigable rivers, in lakes and water storage basins, in harsh environments, in bogs and unnavigable rivers.
Figure 8
Applied for aerial installations: on power lines, lamp posts, between buildings and constructions. Suitable for aerial installation on transmission equipment and power facilities in dielectric package.
Aerial
Applied for aerial installation on distribution and high voltage power lines, as well as railway catenary.
Indoor
Applied inside buildings (including vertical runs), in trays, channels, on outer sides of buildings, as well as in duct, in tubes and blocks. Suitable for blowing-in into protecting polyethylene tubes.
Drop
Applied for aerial installation on transmission towers, lamp posts, between buildings and constructions.
OPGW/Ground Wire
Applied in the construction of fiber-optic link on overhead transmission lines of 35 kV and more.
Fire Rated
Used for stationary installation when the optical fiber needs extra protection from mechanical damages.
Specialty Cable
For fiber optic monitoring systems.

2021 has been a milestone at Incab in terms of global digital transformation.
It is the year when we announced the transition to SAP S/4 HANA Cloud ERP system and the integration testing is currently in its full swing!
For Incab, as an optical cable manufacturer, successful digital transformation would not be possible without innovations in one of the most complex areas – engineering and design of cable constructions, that is why the automation of designs creation is a number one task and a primary focus.
The plant has successfully implemented CableBuilder to achieve the strategic goals. This software solution allows to speed up design calculation processes, standardize and improve the product documentation, resulting in a better customer service and experience.
The project was conducted jointly with the company InnoVites from the start of 2021. Since Incab went live with CableBuilder, the processes of designs creation have qualitatively improved, the time for datasheets generation has significantly reduced and the risk of human errors has been eliminated.
Vladislav Artamonov, Head of Project Management Department at Incab: “The implementation of CableBuilder is the cornerstone of our digital transformation process. It helps us to centrally manage the product data, keeping the engineering process at a high-quality level and making it more consistent. The InnoVites team facilitated a smooth and rapid implementation of the software. They are well versed in the industry, which helped us to make informed decisions during implementation and complete the project on time while keeping within the project’s scope, budget, and time.”
Albert Groothedde, CEO at InnoVites: “It has been a pleasure working with the professional team of Incab. Their commitment to the project allowed us to execute it in an efficient way. We are proud to deliver another project observing the key objectives in terms of its scope, implementation, and budget. We look forward to a long-term partnership with Incab.”
InnoVites team shared their feedback on the project.
