A joint visit of the temporarily acting governor of Perm Region Maxim Reshetnikov and President of Rostelecom PJSC Mikhail Oseevskiy to Incab took place on August 29. Incab CEO Alexander Smilgevich gave a tour of the production facility showing all stages of optical cable manufacturing from fiber coloring to coating and presenting the products of the plant. Special attention was paid to the All-Russian Project to eliminate digital inequality.
In addition, our guests were able to see the wrapping technology for the construction of reliable communication networks in the private sector. About 1000 subscribers have already been connected to Rostelecom PJSC access networks based on the wrapping technology.
This visit was part of the working trip designed to check the implementation of the program for the connection of medical institutions to the high-speed Internet. One of the first medical institutions to be connected to the broadband 100 Mbps internet was a district hospital in Zvezdny settlement (Perm Region).
